Dunlop Tires
It all started in 1888, when a small boy tried to ride a tricycle with solid rubber wheels. John Boyd Dunlop grew tired of watching his son struggle with the cumbersome tires, so eventually he patented his own design, giving birth to what we recognize as the modern-day tire. The legend grew by leaps, bounds, and RPMs. What started as a tricycle tire grew into a racing radial for 200 mile-per-hour motorsport vehicles, way ahead of their time. And the Dunlop name became as popular in racing circles as the black-and-white checkered flag. Even today, Dunlop thrives on its motorsports heritage, blending the latest technology with OE experience. They take everything they learn on the race tracks and incorporate it into tires for the most discerning drivers. That's Dunlop. And that's driving. |
